Teaching staff
The teaching staff consists mainly of employees of the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences and invited specialists from the Warsaw University of Technology, Gdańsk University of Technology and the Research Institute of Roads and Bridges.
Equipment provided
Lecture and seminar classes will be held in the halls of the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences at 159 Nowoursynowska Street in Warsaw (building 33), equipped with modern audiovisual and research equipment. Field trips outside the WULS-SGGW campus are also planned in order to learn about the discussed issues in practice. In the laboratory and computer rooms, the participants of the postgraduate studies will learn about the issues of geotechnical documentation, methodology and interpretation of laboratory and field tests of the ground of buildings and the selection of parameters for geotechnical calculations. Participants will learn about modern research equipment introduced into practice in recent years and the use of specialized computer programs in geotechnical design and assessment of the safety of buildings and their impact on the state of the environment.

Postgraduate students will receive an electronic version of teaching materials.
Graduation conditions
- active participation in at least 80% of the classes
- passing the tests at the end of semesters
- development and defense of a thesis
After submitting the diploma thesis and passing the exam, participants receive a certificate of completion of postgraduate studies.
